Understanding Autism & ADHD Evaluations
Administered by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Licensed in the state of Texas
-
Schedule a free 15 minute phone call to understand your concerns, your child’s developmental history, and your family’s needs.
-
If necessary, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our trusted pediatricians at Rango Health before beginning any evaluation or screening. This initial step is designed to help you navigate the process and ensure the best approach for your child’s unique needs.
-
Using the ADOS-2 and ADI-R or VADRS tool, DINO will conduct a thorough evidence-based evaluation of the child.
-
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and pediatrician will carefully review and discuss the results of the evaluations. They will analyze the findings in the context of the patient’s unique needs, as well as the goals and priorities of the family.
-
After the evaluation, the pediatrician will meet with you to discuss the results, provide a clear diagnosis (if applicable), and answer any questions you may have.
Caregivers will receive a comprehensive diagnostic report.

Potential Signs For:
ADHD Evaluation
DINO provides evidence-based ADHD evaluations using the Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scales (VADRS) for children and adolescents showing signs of attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity challenges.
-
The VADRS is a widely recognized, research-backed assessment used by clinicians to evaluate ADHD symptoms.
-
Gathers insights from parents, teachers, and caregivers to ensure a holistic understanding of the child’s behavior across settings.
-
Symptoms are scored based on DSM-5 criteria, providing clarity for diagnosis and intervention planning.
Autism Evaluation
At DINO, we offer ADOS-2 assessments for children between 18 months and school-aged who are displaying potential signs of autism.
-
The ADOS-2 is the most reliable, evidence-based tool for autism diagnosis worldwide.
-
Children engage in natural, interactive activities while trained clinicians observe social communication, play, and behavior.
-
Behaviors are coded based on standardized criteria, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
